As you may be aware from the news section on our web site http://www.noffla.ie/News/Default.126.html , I met with the new Minister for Justice, Mr. Dermot Ahern TD on Friday, 20 June last. The Minister has requested that we submit some practical alternatives to overcome the difficulties of segregation and earlier closure while achieving the objectives contained in the report from the Alcohol Advisory Group.

Please give these matters some serious consideration and revert with your suggestions, if any, as soon as possible as we intend to meet with the Department of Justice again in the very near future.
